University of the Virgin Islands Selects NBH Solutions to Support Banner & Blackboard

September 30, 2007. St Thomas, USVI. After reviewing several competitive proposals, the University of the Virgin Islands (www.UVI.edu ) selected NBH Solutions (www.nbhsolutions.com ) to provide project management and technical services for the Banner Student and Finance systems as well as the Blackboard course management system (www.blackboard.com .) For the next year, NBH Solutions will provide project management and technical resources for the development and completion of the integration of Banner and Blackboard as well as ongoing technical support including

· Building a Blackboard/Banner interface

· Reimplementation of Banner Security

· Oracle Database Management Support

· Financial Aid Improvements

· Planning for and implementation of CAPP

· Applicant tracking and processing procedures

· Improvement of leave tracking process

· Implementation of web time entry

· Improvement of reporting capabilities

· Interfaces with various benefits websites

NBH Solutions has assigned a senior Oracle database administrator, a Banner student programmer with years of experience implementing the Banner degree audit application, a Blackboard expert, a Banner Student system expert, and a project manager to this new engagement. NBH Solutions experts will work both on-island and remotely to make this effort a success.
